It was decent base for traveling to Madrid, I was glad to stay there. This was my 2nd stay, they offered a double room. The place had a quiet atmosphere.

I recently stayed at Hostal Vara for a few nights and I had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with Atocha train station, metro stations, and bus stops all within walking distance. There were also plenty of coffee and fruit shops nearby. The staff at Hostal Vara were exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist me. They even waited an extra 30 minutes for me to pick up my backpacks before my departure. The rooms were clean and the mattresses provided a comfortable night's sleep. The free WiFi was also excellent.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Hostal Vara for a few nights during a trip to explore the city. The location was great, with a bus stop and metro station just a short walk away. There were also plenty of options for food nearby. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed, including air conditioning and a TV. The Plaza Beata Ana de Jesus, where the hotel is situated, was beautiful and peaceful. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
